The Steem Ecosystem of apps and services direct acessing the Steem blockchain, see bellow some of the initiatives:

  A project which taps into the community aspect of the Steem blockchain. Proposed by @dragosroua and opened for alpha testers in June 9th, 2017.

• Steem Cool: http://steem.cool/
  This tool shows Reputation and Reputation Score/Level. Created by @shaunmza and launched in April 26th, 2017.

• Steem Files: http://steemfiles.com
  @steemfiles : https://steemit.com/@steemfiles
  A website where you can buy and sell files - images, e-books, videos - for SBD. Created by @leprechaun and launched in January 2nd, 2017.

• Steem Followers: https://steem.makerwannabe.com
  A tool to know who followed / stopped following you on Steemit. Created by @blueorgy and launched in 2016.

• Steem Island: https://steemit.com/@steemislandinc
  A STEEM Tokens crowdfund to purchase an island in Florida. Proposed by @riosparada in July 1st, 2017.

• Steem Supply: http://steem.supply
  A free tool for checking potential rewards. Created by @dragosroua and launched in May 21st, 2017.

• Steem Tag Search: https://steem-tag-search.herokuapp.com/
  A free tool for for searching posts of users based on their tags. Created by @kasperfred and launched in June, 2017.

• Steem Whales: https://steemwhales.com
  A website that tracks and collects information about the Steem Network and shows it ordered as rankings and trendings. Created by @ heimindanger and launched in June 20th, 2016.

• Steem.center: https://www.steem.center
  Wiki created by @someguy123 and launched in September 2016.

• SteemAccess : https://www.steempower.org
  Enabling Third Party Apps to Interface with Steem. Created by @charlieshrem and launched in March 2017.

• Steemarket : http://www.steemarket.com
  Online showcase of ART for Steemians. Created by @paolobeneforti and launched in July 8th, 2017.

• SteemChallenge.com : https://steemchallenge.com/
  An organized, curated contest, games and challenge directory. Created by @sircork and launched (beta) in June 21st, 2017.

• Steemd: https://www.steemd.com
  Steem block explorer created by @roadscape and launched in April 2016.

• SteemDB: https://steemdb.com
  Block explorer and database for the STEEM blockchain created by @jesta and launched in August 2016.

• SteemData Notify : https://notify.steemdata.com
  A free blockchain monitoring service, that sends to the account owner Email and Telegram notifications when payments and critical account changes occur. Created by @furion and launched in July 5th, 2017

• SteemIMG : http://www.steemimg.com
  Image host for Steemit. Created by @blueorgy in July 2016

• Steemit Locator: https://www.zeemaps.com/map?group=2610381
  A map that shows locations of fellow Steemit users who chose to share it there. The hope is to better facilitate people hanging out or local meetups. Proposed by @sykochica and launched in July 10th, 2017.

  A dedicated account for running lotteries on Steemit, created by unknown and launched in June 5th, 2017.

  Graphical Visualisation of the most recent Steemit Activities created by @mynameisbrian and launched in 2016.

• Steemiz.io: http://steemiz.io (not active yet)
  A frontend for Steem, proposed by @najoh in June 20th, 2017.

• SteemKR.com: https://steemkr.com
  A korean language Steemit interface version with aditional statistics and features created by @ludorum and with beta version launched in June 9th, 2017.

  A Github steem blog with light and effective design. Fast and easy to build-up. By @ausbitbank.

• SteemFilm : https://steemit.com/@steemfilm
  A blog to facilitate the sourcing, development, funding, production, marketing and distribution of original film projects within the Steem Ecosystem. Created by @dan-atstarlite and @brian-rhodes and launched in June 14th, 2017

• SteemForThe.Win : http://steemforthe.win
  It shows how quickly your Voting Power will recover over the next 5 days. First experiment with the Steem API by @digimad launched in June 22nd, 2017.

  Real time updates of all your account's stats created by @penguinpablo and launched in April 2017.

• SteemTools: http://steemtools.com
  Steem tools, apps and services web directory created by @roelandp and launched in July 21st, 2016.

  The proposal provides a two phase approach that is aimed at user engagement in the curation of categories/tags, and increased voting of users across the platform. Created by @instructor2121 and launched in August 2016.

  Instant STEEM/SBD/BTC/USD conversion rates in your browser. Created by @someguy123 and launched in September 2016.

  List potential future payouts.

  A questions and answers site that wanted to collect all the knowledge and resources about Steem. Created by @dragonho and launched in July 2016.

  A platform on Steem blockchain that rewards people for sharing their lifestyle and visual experience. Created by @pmartynov and launched in March 2017.

  A service for Steem blockchain provides task automation, post scheduling, ping notifications, RSS feed, etc. created by @chainsquad and launched in November 2016.

• The Viewfinder Steemzine
  A spontaneously published ezine exclusively on Steemit.com. It will highlight the work of some of the best photographers and writers currently using the platform. Created by @jamtaylor and launched in September 21st, 2016.
