Online cryptocurrency exchanges are websites where you can buy, sell, or exchange cryptocurrencies for another digital currency or fiat money (USD, EUR, etc). Steem was officially launched in July 2016 being traded by Openledger and Bittrex. Openledger and Blocktrades offer wallets located in Bitshares blockchain, another cryptocurrency created by the Steem blockchain co-founder Dan Larimer.
